    The property is easily accessible by public transport, but a car is recommended. Bicycles can be hired locally. The fast Virgin train link to London Euston takes 2 hours and 59 minutes.

    Cedar Lodge is located just 1.9 miles from the A55 North Wales express road, making it very easy to explore the area. There are several National Trust properties within a 30-mile radius, including the castles of Caernarfon and Beaumaris in Anglesey. Within 6 miles is the medieval walled town of Conwy, featuring its castle, charming shops and harbour, as well as the Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno, which offers a dry ski slope and activities and views from the Great Orme. The picturesque town of Betwys-y-Coed is 20 miles away.

    On the Doorstep

    A short 10-minute walk takes you to the Pen-y-Bryn pub, featuring lovely oak floors, open fires, beer gardens, and sea views. It serves excellent food in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. There is also a nearby convenience store, Indian take-away, and hairdresser, all within a 10-minute walk from the house.

    Many beautiful country walks are right on your doorstep. Signposted footpaths and trails run through the surrounding farmland down to the coast. Pwllycrochan Woods nature reserve is a delightful 21-hectare woodland just 5-10 minutes' walk from the property.
