Using the Ice Maker in the Freezer
About the Ice Maker
- The freezer in the garage/games room has an in-built ice making capability
- To use this, it is necessary to add water, allow it time to freeze, then dispense the ice into the collection chamber
- Repeat the process to built up a supply of ice
How to Make Ice
Location:
The ice maker is found on the inside of the freezer door (in the garage / games room)
To use:
- Pull down the water compartment drawer
- Add water using a jug. Only fill the drawer lid to just below the the brim, DO NOT OVERFILL. You do not need much water
- Close the drawer. The water fills the ice cube wells that are underneath
Close the freezer door and wait until the water has fully frozen
To release the ice:
When the water has fully frozen, the ice cubes are released into the lower container by pulling down the lever on the left of the ice maker. The lower container is opened (as shown here) by slightly lifting and tilting it forward, to allow you to access the ice
