Pool Table Instructions ("WHOLE HOUSE" ONLY)

Please note that NO DRINKS should be placed on the pool table

  • Manufactured by DPT, this is a high-quality 6’ slate bed table.
  • It incorporates a cue ball separator that means the cue ball is returned to the Baulk end while the coloured balls return to the opposite side of the table.

Setting up the Pool Table

  • Set up the balls as shown using the triangle rack.
  • The black eight ball is positioned in the middle of the triangle, over the foot spot (8 Ball Spot) that is marked on the cloth.
  • The white ball is played from behind the line drawn on the cloth (Baulk line).

At the start, or after a foul shot that pots the white, the white ball can be positioned to any point on or behind the Baulk line and played in any direction.

Use of the Pool Table

  • A selection of pool cues can be found in the rack. The longer (4’) cues are advised where possible, with the short (3’) cues to be used if space is restricted.
  • Pool chalk is provided, and you are recommended to chalk the ends of the cues periodically.
  • Two rests are available, with each the rest cue having a central screw fitting that allows the length of the rest to be adjusted if necessary.

Please respect our Pool Table

  • Under no circumstances should drinks be placed on the pool table
  • Do NOT attempt any “table ripping” jump or swerve shots, as this will damage the cloth
  • In the event of the cloth being damaged by inappropriate use, we will charge for replacement
