The switches to the conservatory lights are in the living room, to the right of the conservatory door.
Lights to the balcony and patio are controlled from switches located in the dining room (right of the patio doors, low on the wall behind the table lamp), on the wall of the conservatory (to the left as you enter) or the pool table room (left of the patio doors).
The fairy lights in the conservatory are controlled by the switch on the left, just after you enter.
Cinema chairs ("Whole House" only)
The electric chairs recline using a button on the right side of the chair (click here for full instructions). As the chairs are plugged in, please remember NOT to move them!
The massage function is controlled by the controller that is attached to the chair.
Freezer
The freezer is in the garage, which is accessed from the house.
Use the Sky remote for Sky, and Netflix (for Netflix, select “Apps” then Netflix).
The bathroom TV is controlled via the Amazon firestick remote.
Barbecue
Please cook on the fireproof barbecue mats that you will find inside the barbecue.
If you need to change the gas cylinder, a fresh one is in the garage (and please let us know that we need a new one). Click here for full instructions.
If the weather is poor, the chairs are stored in the large plastic garden box on the patio. Hook them to the metal rings that are positioned under the balcony. If the weather is bad, please put them back in storage box after use (and make sure the lid is shut properly, to keep out the rain).
The cushions can resist a shower, but if there is heavy rain they will get soaked and so be unusable until dry. To avoid this, if rain is due, please store them in the large boxes provided on the balcony.
Balcony lounge seating (April – End October)
The cushions can resist a shower, but if there is heavy rain they will get soaked and so be unusable until dry. To avoid this, if rain is due, please store them in the large boxes provided on the balcony.
Hammock (April – End October)
The hammock is stored in the bag next to the wooden frame. DO NOT leave the hammock up after use as it makes a very effective “sail”—the whole hammock can be blown into the swimming pool!
If the hammock is wet, please let it dry before putting it back in the bag.
Swimming pool (pool is heated and in use April – End October) ("Whole House" only)
The thermal cover should be left in place when the pool is not in use. Use the roller to wind it up—straps to the side can be used to keep it in place (strap the spa cover in too). Click here for full rules and instructions.
Remove leaves/bugs from the surface using the flat net and larger objects from the bottom with the big net. Do not use the flat net to retrieve items from the bottom of the pool.
